Assembler
This position is responsible for the assembly and packaging of sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. The Assembler will ensure that all products meet prescribed quality standards through visual and tactical inspection of all in-process products.
- Rotates through all of the tasks required to complete the assembly process for sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products.
- Communicates with supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
- Inspects components for defects, communicates known issues with supervisor.
- Operates machinery such as pallet wrapper, sonic welder, riveter, heat sealers, etc.
- Operates and/or monitors manual and automated packaging machines. Sorts and inspects packaged products to ensure they meet prescribed quality standards.
- Performs testing of finished products.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures, adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices and GMP standards.
- Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
- Maintains a clean workspace.
- Performs additional tasks as needed.

Pay: $13.75 per hour
Machine Operator
This position is responsible for tending to and operating CNC and other machine tools for the manufacture or secondary machining of medical devices and/or commercial products. The Machine Operator will ensure that machined products meet prescribed quality standards through use of precision measuring equipment.
- Communicates with supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
- Performs basic operation of CNC and manual machine tools.
- Uses band saw to cut material for use.
- Loads stock materials into machine to initiate machining process.
- Observes continuous operation of machines, watching for malfunctions. Contacts supervisor to make necessary adjustments.
- Trims excess material from parts as needed or performs secondary machining operations.
- Removes finished product from machine and checks to ensure conformance to blueprint, using visual inspection and precision measuring equipment such as gauges and calipers.
- Packages and labels identifying information on products when necessary.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures, adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices and GMP standards.
- Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
- Maintains a clean workspace.
- Performs additional tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.75 – $15.00 per hour
Machinist
This position is responsible for the setup and operation of machine tools to produce precision parts. The Machinist will set up, troubleshoot, monitor, and control tooling along with machinery feed rates and speeds while working closely with Machine Operators to ensure that machined products meet prescribed quality standards.
- Communicates with supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
- Studies sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine the methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate parts.
- Calculates dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
- Selects, sets up, adjusts, programs, and operates machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.
- Maintains machine tools in proper operational condition, checking equipment to ensure proper lubrication and cooling.
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
- Measures, examines or tests completed parts to check for defects and ensure conformance to prescribed quality standards, along with documenting findings.
- Troubleshoots machinery by monitoring sounds, sights, and general machine functions.
- Communicates known issues or challenges to Machine Operators to ensure quality parts are produced in an efficient manner.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures, adheres to quality, cleaning, and safe work practices.
- Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
- Maintains a safe and clean workspace.
- Performs additional tasks as needed.
MASHINIST MINIMUM SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machinist or an Associate’s Degree in Tool & Die.
- Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machine –lathes, mills, grinders– with emphasis on the set up, programming and operation of CNC machines.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Working knowledge of precision measuring tools.
- Strong coordination and mechanical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in math.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge of metal properties and other material.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
