Positions Currently Available

Assembler 

This position is responsible for the assembly and packaging of sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. The Assembler will ensure that all products meet prescribed  quality standards trough visual and tactical inspection of all in-process products.

  • Rotates through all of the tasks required to complete the assembly process for sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products.
  • Communicates with supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
  • Inspects components for defects, communicates know issues with supervisor.
  • Operates machinery such as pallet wrapper, sonic welder, riveter, heat sealers, etc.
  • Operates and/or monitors manual and automated packaging machines. Sorts and inspects packaged product to ensure they meet prescribed quality standards.
  • Performs initial testing of finished products.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures, adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices and GMP standards.
  • Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
  • Maintains a clean workspace.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed.

 

Packaging Room Technician

This position is responsible for overseeing packaging room activities on a daily basis to ensure high-quality products, maximize productivity, new product development effectiveness, minimize costs, and meet overall customer expectations.  The technician will ensure that the packaging equipment is ready for daily use, including cleaning, preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. This position oversees the production and quality of product in a manner consistent with company SOP’s and cost objectives

  • Maintains inventory of packaging materials (bags, ribbon, spare parts)
  • Generates and runs packaging labels as requested
  • Monitors everyday activities and processes continually, keeping packaging room operational and productive to meet inventory requirements
  • Monitors and recommends improvements in packaging processes to reduce cost, increase efficiency, and improve quality
  • Eliminates need for secondary sorting by ensuring product quality from packaging machine output
  • Records and analyzes production data to ensure maximum productivity
  • Advises management of problems areas such as: Specific product problems, equipment problems, quality assurance issues, and any other issues that need management’s attention
  • Maintains and monitors all packaging equipment and consumable supplies
  • Ensures equipment is operating within approved acceptable settings
  • Controls loss and waste of materials
  • Conducts and records Preventative Maintenance for packaging equipment
  • Performs and documents Machine Maintenance, request help directly from equipment manufacturer tech support as needed

 

Machine Operator

This position is responsible for tending to and operating CNC and other machine tools for the manufacture or secondary machining of medical devices and / or commercial products. The Machine Operator will ensure that machined products meet prescribed quality standards through use of precision measuring equipment. Molded Products tooling facility is a modern molding and mold making operation; very clean, and comfortable climate controlled. Responsibilities of both positions include working with E.D.M., Lathes & Mills (CNC, as well as, manual), Surface Grinders, and Saws to create close tolerance molds for injection molded plastic. Other responsibilities include mold repair and mold maintenance.

  • Communicates with supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
  • Performs basic operation of CNC and manual machine tools.
  • Uses band saw to cut material for use.
  • Loads stock materials into machine to initiate machining process.
  • Observes continuous operation of machine watching for malfunctions. Contacts supervisor to make necessary adjustments.
  • Trims excess material from parts as needed or performs secondary machining operations.
  • Removes finished product from machine and checks to ensure that they conform to blueprint. using visual inspection and precision measuring equipment such as gauges and calipers.
  • Packages and labels identifying information on products when necessary.
  • Follows Standard Operating Procedures, adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices and GMP standards.
  • Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
  • Maintains a clean workspace.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed.
